The Three Amigos " I'm Drawing a line" scene
This has always been one of my favorite personal movies ever since I was a kid and my father bought it for my brother and I to watch. There is so much to this movie I can appreciate. They really don't make movies quite like this anymore. Lately there has been a scene in a movie I've been thinking of and it is a scene where a man decides to stay and face the fight, it took me a while to realize that the scene is from this movie so I decided to post about it.
The city of Santa Poco is about to be attacked by the Villain El Guapo and The Three Amigos are faced with a critical choice to make, fight or flee. I have been finding myself making those life defining choices a lot more lately since I've decided to move back to San Francisco. Its like taking on the world and each choice can either make you or break you. I wanted to pay homage to that scene, I couldn't find an actual clip of it so ill just type it out. Enjoy! if you get a chance to watch the movie, highly recommended and it is a classic!
Lucky: Let's go back to Hollywood
Dusty: The sooner the better
Lucky: It's too hot down here
Dusty: Bad for my hay fever
Lucky: We don't belong here anyway
Dusty: Where's Ned?
( Ned is reloading his pistol with real bullets.)
Lucky: Ned, what are you doing?
Ned: What do we have to go back to? We have no jobs. No money, no place to live, no friends, no women, no self respect-
Dusty: Ned, We could get killed.
Ned: Back there The Three Amigos are already dead. Here we could be The Three Amigos for real. I'm drawing a line. Men or mice, what'll it be?
(the two others cross the line to meet Ned.)

Un Cafecito, Jones St. San Francisco California
While living in the tenderloin district of the inner city of San Francisco, I began this massive effort and series of paintings. Prolific painting throughout 1 year and some months on and off length of time. Lots of time put into these works and still yet to be completed and somewhat deserted. They are currently displayed at a cafe called Un Cafecito on Jones street in Tenderloin district for viewing pleasure.
